Wrapped Peach Aventurine Ring DIY — Bettina’s Blog - Something handmade
Ooh, this is a swell idea! Though I think half hard wire would work just as well as dead soft.
Metal & Wood Necklace | Yesterday’s Sweetheart
There are so many colour combinations I love, but blue and yellow is one of my favourites (oh yes, and just add gold!). This is a super easy craft to make and doesn’t require any jewelry making skills. It’s a combination of wooden balls, paint and washers. This would be a great activity to make with friends - get a few colours, get everyone to do their own colour combo and add in some cocktails for a perfect afternoon!
DIY Knit Club Monaco Frances Knit Headband Tutorial from inspiration & realisation here. This project uses 8mm or US 11 needles (big) so the headband knits up in about an hour - great for gifts. Top Photo: $69.50 Club Monaco Frances Kit Headband here, Bottom Photo: DIY by inspiration & realisation.

DIY Wire Wrapped Spiked Geometric Ring from Teahab here. She doesn’t mention a size or type of wire but other tutorials I’ve posted suggest:
- 24 gauge Artistic Wire (small good things Wire Word Ring here which I love)
- 18 gauge Artistic Wire (I Spy DIY Heart Wire Ring here)
- 20 gauge wire (Creativity in Pieces Beaded Wire Toe Ring or Worry Ring here)
- 20 gauge silver plated (Wobisobi’s Half Way Wire Ring here)
- 20 gauge or 22 gauge Artistic Wire (Lytha Studios incredibly detailed beginner’s wire rings here)
